Happy Valentine's Day

Got some time to write today. After this last set of exams, I decided to get out of Stony Brook and visit various old stomping grounds in upstate NY. It was a whirlwind trip filled with many surprise visits, hugs, laughs, games played, and much travel between Syracuse, Ithaca, and Rochester. I'm just a few hours away from a plane-ride back to the JFK to close my circle of a vacation, and my heart is heavy. (Song of the Day)

I could not have asked for a better Valentine's Day weekend. However, my love life has had many rough points, and it still does due to forces outside of my control. Regardless, I persevere because for the first (or second) time in my life, I know something intangible to be 100% true. I will continue fighting the good fight, for when your heart is in the right place, I truly believe that the rest will follow in time.

Soon I will enjoy a quick VDay dinner before my trek back to Long Island begins. And with that, my life will resume its droning alternating of studying and making sure I don't lose my remaining sanity. So with that, may love and light fill your lives day in and day out, and may your hearts always be in the right place.
